Does It Make Financial Sense to Hire a Cleaning Service?

According to usnews.com in an article they interviewed a number of people...all with different situations, as to why they use a cleaning service! If any of these fit your lifestyle we hope that you consider contacting us! Turns out a hiring a professional cleaner may mean more to you than just a "clean home".

Hiring a cleaning service isn’t expensive at all and most have affordable budget plans to accommodate almost everyone.

If you can afford an apartment or a house, your $200/month cable bills, and that monthly subscription box for old bathroom magazines, you can definitely afford a cleaning service.

In fact hiring a cleaning service won’t put a dent in your wallet as much as you think, it will actually save you money and then some.

- There's more to life! -

When you’re living in the 21st century, you are guaranteed to have over scheduled burdened lives. There is the taxes that need to be done from last year, your doctor appointment on Saturday, your important business meeting at 6pm today, and you almost forgot your brother’s wedding for tomorrow. Gone are the days, where you can come home and actually have time to clean your own home then spend enough time with your family over a cup of tea.

Hiring a cleaning service save you more time to spend on the important things in life that matter.

You'd be surprised with the benefit of using a cleaning service would actually put you in a space that you can use the extra time to spend time with his family, traveling, and on recreational events. The whole point of money is so you can actually buy the time to enjoy your life. The man working 40-50 hours a week might have more money in his bank account, but that means absolutely nothing if he has no time to enjoy his life.

It’s never about the money, it’s always about the freedom! Hiring a cleaning service can do that much more for you.

- Convenience is King!-

We understand that you’re not a lazy person. You are most probably a hard working citizen!

But let’s face it...at the end of the day, nothing beats convenience.I mean you can be the biggest clean freak in the world, but who doesn’t want to come home to a perfectly clean sparkly fresh scented home. That’s why things such as Uber, Postmates, and Online Shopping is doing so well in today’s era.

Everybody wants something done at the click of a button. If you can have that for buying clothes online or having food delivered to your home from an app, why not have it to get your house cleaned as well? It saves you energy and of-course time which ties right back to the first point we already made in the beginning of this post.

- Mother of newborn - transition into a new member in the family

"My time is worth more to me than the cost of the service. I also had dealt with postpartum depression and anxiety after my son was born, and we were looking for ways to make the transition to a family of four as smooth as possible," says Seabrook, who now blogs about maternal mental health.

For her, the $125 she spends every other week is worth it. "The time I spent cleaning, feeling guilty about not cleaning, worrying about how bad my house looked and stressing about how we would get it all done – I have all of that time back now," Seabrook says.

- Business owner/career woman or man - Your time is LITERALLY MONEY!

"Back when I was just starting out in the workforce, one of my female peers explained the concept of opportunity cost with respect to hiring a cleaner versus doing it myself. She asked me to do a simple calculation of how much time it would take me, and my hourly rate based on my salary versus the cost of hiring a professional," Todd says.

In other words, let's say you make $100 an hour. If it would take you five hours to clean your house, you are, in a sense, spending $500 when you clean your home. Instead, you could spend $150 for a two-person cleaning crew to do the same work, or even better work, in two hours.

Lastly, if you are a business owner chances are you are good at what you do...which is running your business, doing your craft...getting more clientele...managing your employees and that's just the minimum! But when it comes to inspections for cleanliness you don't want to chance it by having employees work "extra" hours increasing your payroll, or better yet you having to take more time out of your already stacked day to clean to save money! Hiring a cleaning service would be less expensive then both options mentioned above!
